Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive
In August 2025, Hailey participated in the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive at New England Music Camp’s Snowpond Center for the Arts in Sidney, Maine. Led by award-winning songwriters Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days, All the World’s a Stage, Scotland PA) and Anna K. Jacobs (Teeth), the week was full of contemporary and musical theatre songwriting, collaboration, and learning alongside other songwriters from around the country.
Check out a few songs Hailey wrote with other cohort members during the intensive! Each song was inspired by a unique prompt and built around a specific structural tool.
