Hailey is a pop, modern folk, and musical theatre songwriter. She currently co-leads Texas State Musical Theatre’s Singer-Songwriter Club, fostering a space for emerging writers to share their work and grow.
In 2025, Hailey was selected as one of ten songwriters nationwide for the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive at New England Music Camp’s Snowpond Center for the Arts in Sidney, Maine, where she studied contemporary and musical theatre songwriting.

Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive
In August 2025, Hailey participated in the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive at New England Music Camp’s Snowpond Center for the Arts in Sidney, Maine. Led by award-winning songwriters Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days, All the World’s a Stage, Scotland PA) and Anna K. Jacobs (Teeth), the week was full of contemporary and musical theatre songwriting, collaboration, and learning alongside other songwriters from around the country.

Musical Concept Album
Hailey wrote 21 original songs and narrowed them into an 11-song musical concept album. The songs were presented in a concert-style performance with a cast of eight.
