Hailey M Truong (she/her) is a Chinese-Lao-American artist, born and raised in Sacramento, California. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in music at Texas State University, where she is set to graduate in 2026. Hailey has also trained abroad at The Globe Theatre in London.

While at Texas State, Hailey co-founded and directed Across Oceans: An AAPI Celebration, the inaugural Asian American Pacific Islander showcase within the School of Theatre, Dance, and Film. As the daughter of two refugees, Hailey is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and believes in the power of the arts to elevate diverse experiences — celebrating the richness, resilience, and depth of human stories. She is dedicated to creating spaces where these voices are seen, heard, and honored, fostering empathy and understanding across communities.

In her free time, you can find her adding to her (large) plant collection, crocheting, exploring the outdoors, cooking, or songwriting!
